Otema Francis Wani is an agriculturalist and food security specialist with over seven years of experience in agroecology, organic agriculture, and climate-smart farming in South Sudan. He is the Founder & CEO of Empower Youth in Africa & Livelihood (EYAL), a youth-led enterprise dedicated to empowering marginalized youth, women, and smallholder farmers through sustainable farming, entrepreneurship, market systems development, and climate-resilient livelihoods. With a Bachelor in Agriculture & Community development and Diploma in Organic Agriculture and a proven record in promoting ecological farming systems that address climate change and strengthen value chains, Francis is committed to transforming agriculture into a driver of peace, prosperity, and resilience.
