Taino Farm

Taino Farm is an educational center for demonstrating permaculture-inspired agrotourism. The Farm is located at the tropical river “Rio Yasica” outside the town of Cabarete in the Dominican Republic, which is known for its surfing, kite- and windsurfing

Our goal is to inspire, educate and show people how to live in harmony with nature and produce
sustainable healthy food.

We are self-sufficient with over 100 different fruit trees, a large aquaponics system, a vegetable garden, chickens, a worm farm for compost production and our own bee colonies.

The Taino Farm is run by a community of over 10 families.
