Permaculture collective garden in Brussels Haren
FruityHaren is a citizen's collective garden project in Brussels-Haren.
The collective garden is developed according to the principles of permaculture and agroecology, with edible plants (vegetables, small fruit trees...), medicinal plants and plants for other human uses and for biodiversity.
The garden is located in the North of the Commune of Brussels, on former market gardening land, near the center of the village of Haren, in a bucolic site crossed by footpaths and occupied by vegetable gardens and pastures. The area is however marked by urban pressure and strong social mutations.
