Agroecology Works!

The Agroecology works! network has been active since 2019. Its purpose is to increase public awareness and understanding of agroecology in Switzerland and to promote synergies between the various actors in agriculture and the food system in Switzerland and globally. The network aims to anchor agroecology in Switzerland as a guiding principle for sustainable and comprehensive change in agricultural and food policy. The focus is on agricultural and food policy, foreign and external economic policy as well as research and education policy in Switzerland. The network serves as an exchange platform for practical ideas and examples, brings together the diverse actors from practice, society, science and politics in Switzerland for the common cause and in this way promotes and strengthens agroecology.
