Pico - Organic freshness for trade and gastronomy

Pico Lebensmittel AG is a family business that has been distributing organic food from mainly small regional producers to 550 regular customers in the area of Zurich for 25 years. Pico's clientele is very diverse, mainly small businesses, be it in the specialized trade, in gastronomy or in communal catering. As a food distributor and logistician of organic food in the Zurich area, Pico is an (often invisible) collection point within the food chain. As Pico distributes the products of many small producers to many small customers, they fight for a small-scale, decentralized, sustainable food supply and therefore consider themselves as an important partner in the agroecological transformation.
