Grünhölzli - Community garden

On the western edge of Zurich, the Grünhölzli association has developed a new garden vision on 7 hectares. Small gardens, seed gardens, integration gardens, forest gardens, bees, medicinal gardens, seedling nurseries, school gardens, plant recycling and much more can be found in the community garden. As a non-profit association, Grünhölzli promotes community gardening in urban areas, especially in the city of Zurich. Much emphasis is placed on local, social and ecological sustainability.
