Angola

Descripción breve del lugar y las prácticas

Dimarjan operates in Angola, focusing on sustainable agroforestry to combat climate change, restore biodiversity, and empower local communities. We plant diverse tree species alongside crops to enhance soil health, increase carbon sequestration, and improve food security. Our innovative approach integrates blockchain technology for transparent carbon offset tracking. We reinvest 10% of our revenues into community development, including education, water access, and electrification, creating long-lasting environmental and social impact.

Detalles del sistema agrícola

The main purpose of Dimarjan’s farm is to create a sustainable agroforestry system that combats climate change, restores biodiversity, and empowers local communities in Angola. We aim to achieve carbon sequestration through the planting of diverse tree species, while also improving soil health and food security. By integrating crops with native and fruit-bearing trees, our farm provides environmental and socio-economic benefits, creating sustainable livelihoods for local communities and contributing to global climate action.

¿Qué sueñas para el futuro de la granja o del lugar en general?

Our dream for Dimarjan’s farms and the surrounding region is to create a model of sustainable development that blends environmental health with community prosperity. We envision expanding our agroforestry systems to cover thousands of hectares, fostering biodiversity, enhancing soil fertility, and sequestering significant amounts of carbon. Ultimately, we aim to empower local communities with the tools, education, and resources they need to thrive economically while preserving their environment.
We also hope to inspire a global shift toward nature-based solutions that address climate change, food security, and social inequality. By showcasing the success of our farm, we want to prove that sustainable agriculture can be a driver of positive change, both locally and globally.
